As you can see from the drawing and pictures, the conical cup would be made from 3 separate pieces (conical cup, intermediate piece and top sphere) joined by spot welding where the sphere itself would be of 2 pieces allowing it to be opened and closed so as to be able to place items inside.

Dimensions not shown on the diagram are inner dia. at the bottom of the cup 85mm and height from the base to the inside of the cone would be 125mm.
